A "Completed" status for outgoing payments means that from Elevate, through it's partner bank, has submitted your payment to the ACH network and collected the funds.
The recipient will see the balance in his account once the transaction has settled and the receiving bank has made available the funds. Settlement time depends on the type of ACH transfer you sent :
- Standard ACH : 1-3 business days
- Same Day ACH : 0-1 business days
Unfortunately the ACH network does not support sending updates to confirm the receipt of funds so this process has to be checked manually by the recipient. You will however be notified if the transfer fails or the transfer was reversed for any reason.
